Motorcycle insurance is a type of insurance that helps cover the costs of damages or injuries incurred in a motorcycle accident. 

However, there are some things that motorcycle insurance does not cover.

Motorcycle insurance does not cover the cost of repairs that result from regular wear and tear. 

Those types of repair costs would be something potentially covered by a warranty.

Commuting to and from work doesn’t count; your regular individual policy should cover you for that type of driving. 

But if you are using your motorcycle for any type of commercial use, you should consider getting a commercial vehicle insurance policy to make sure you are covered during those times.

Insurance companies will often not pay for injuries or damages caused by a driver operating their vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 

Insurance agents can argue that when an individual decides to drive under the influence, that individual was intentionally operating their vehicle recklessly, and therefore willfully increasing their risk of causing an accident.

You should always make sure you understand what is and what is not covered by your motorcycle insurance policy. 

By thoroughly understanding the terms of your insurance policy, you can make sure you ride and store your motorcycle in compliance with your insurance coverage.
